Grand Canyon Series

A set of large watercolour and watercolour and ink paintings of Eagle Rock in the Grand Canyon. A short musical video was made to accompany the images, which all run together as a series of variations. Eagle Rock is sacred to the local Hualapai tribe, and the area’s fascination to tourists has not been without challenges for the indigenous people. Some of the people are for and some are against its further development. The location itself, on the Grand Canyon’s West Rim, is extraordinarily beautiful and is an unforgettable place to visit.
