Greenfield Primary School

Commission Date: August 2013

A school commission completed earlier in 2013 for a primary school near Watford. The school logo features a tree, which I recreated in sculpture form with metals and wood, and with each of the eight different school year groups we did workshops on small panels in different media. These were inserted behind cut out sections of the tree shape, and included mosaic, ceramic, wood modeling, metal embossing, recycled materials, glass paints, metal work and enamel paints. All of the media had to be durable and able to stand up to the weather, as the finished work was for display outside the school entrance
