Commission Date: Feburary 2020

A selection of ceramic models, paintings and pencil studies from 2019 into 2020. Several of the pieces were submissions for shows, and one of the pencil studies, ‘Strings Attached’, developed into an oil painting. All deal with political and social topics of the day, but with the Trump presidency now a thing of the past. The ceramic piece ‘Act of Penetration’ is a nicely unsubtle bit of punning, and the other two models have a go at two pressing monster issues of our time, climate change and the growth of Social Media.
