This was part of a complex exhibition done with with the Ethical Society at its London headquarters in Holborn. The theme of religion and secularity was explored through a series of junk models. Two life size 18th century ‘philisophes’ or men of learning greeted the hall’s visitors, and in a central section a revamped working of the Trinity was presented in an updated format. In the events room to the side a series of pen and ink pictures called ‘The Station of the Cross Purposes’, featuring the model characters of the corridors, combined the various elements of the show.
